What our portfolio actually shows

The portfolio gallery above represents a small slice of the work — the projects clients are happy to be publicly referenced on. About a third of our work is under NDA and never appears here. What's shown is enough to give you a sense of range, design quality, and execution standards.

Below is what to look for as you evaluate the portfolio — and what most prospective clients miss when evaluating any agency's portfolio.

Design consistency across diverse industries

The same agency producing strong work for a fintech startup, a luxury hotel, an NGO, and a fashion e-commerce brand suggests a process that adapts to context — not a single visual style imposed on every client. Look for evidence that each site's design is rooted in the brand's positioning, not the agency's aesthetic preferences.

Mobile-first execution

Open the portfolio sites on a phone — preferably a mid-tier Android, not the latest iPhone. Mobile-first execution shows in load times, navigation patterns, form design, tap-target sizing, and content density. Sites that look impressive on desktop but feel cramped or slow on mobile failed the most important brief.

Performance under real conditions

Page-load speed matters. Run portfolio sites through PageSpeed Insights (Mobile) and look at Core Web Vitals scores. Sites scoring 80+ in Performance, with green LCP/FID/CLS, indicate disciplined engineering. Sites loading in 5+ seconds are still common in Kenyan portfolios — and a leading indicator of how the agency would build your site.

Functional integrations, not just visuals

For e-commerce sites, look at the checkout. Is M-Pesa STK Push integrated, or is M-Pesa just a logo with no actual payment flow? For B2B sites, look at lead-capture forms — are they connected to a CRM with email automation, or just sending to a generic info@ inbox? The visual layer is the easy part; the working integrations are where most agencies cut corners.

Content depth and SEO foundation

Inspect a portfolio site's page source and you'll see the SEO foundation in 30 seconds. Schema markup, semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, Open Graph tags, canonicals, sitemap reference. If these are missing on a 2025-built portfolio site, the agency doesn't prioritise them — and yours will look the same.

How we work, in case you're evaluating fit

Strategy-first, not template-first

We start every engagement with discovery — your business goals, audience, brand positioning, technical constraints, integration requirements. The visual design comes after we understand the strategy. This is what produces sites that look different from each other and feel right for each client.

Transparent pricing and process

You see the budget breakdown before we start. You see the timeline with milestones. You see the team that will execute. No surprise scope creep, no "phase 2" billing for things we should have included.

Documented and supported post-launch

Every project includes editorial training, written documentation, and a 30-day warranty. Optional ongoing maintenance retainers from KES 8,000/month for clients who want hands-off operation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see live examples of your work?

Yes — the portfolio above includes live URLs for client sites where the client has agreed to be referenced. About 30% of our work is under NDA (financial services, healthcare, sensitive B2B) and isn't publicly listed. We can share NDA work in private discovery calls if it's relevant to your project.

Are these all WordPress sites?

Most are. About 75% of our portfolio is WordPress (often WooCommerce for e-commerce). The rest is Shopify, custom React/Next.js, Webflow, or hybrid headless setups. We pick the right platform for the job, not based on what's easiest for us to deliver.

What does a typical project cost?

Highly variable — from KES 80,000 brochure sites to KES 3M+ custom builds with multi-month engagements. The portfolio spans the full range. For your project specifically, we'd need to scope before quoting; rough indicative pricing is on the services page.

Can I talk to one of your existing clients as a reference?

Yes — for serious prospects we'll arrange reference calls with 1–2 existing clients in adjacent industries. We don't do this for every initial inquiry (respects clients' time) but for shortlisted vendors making a final decision, it's standard practice.

Do you have case studies with results?

Yes — for select clients who agreed to share data, we have written case studies covering the brief, our approach, and the measurable outcomes (traffic, leads, conversion-rate improvements, revenue lift). Available on request during discovery calls.
